§ 26. Mr. John Hyndasked the President of the Board of Trade what measure of success was achieved by the experiment of a British exhibit at the Berlin Exhibition, Grüne Woche.
§ Mr. MasonIt is too early yet to assess the long-term results of the first British participation in this event. I understand, however, that the Food Manufacturers' Federation, the Brewers' Society and the National Farmers Union who sponsored the British participation all consider the experiment, which resulted in retail sales to the value of £21,000, to have been extremely successful.
