§ Mrs. Lena Jegerasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will give the number of applications made, to the last convenient date, by landlords and tenants for fair rent settlements under the Rent Act, and the results in terms of increases and decreases.
§ Mr. MacCollUp to and including 4th March 1966 the total number of applications made for registration of rent under the Rent Act 1965 was 5,329; the total number of rents determined by Rent Officers was 703, of which 532 were reduced, 67 unchanged and 104 increased. Separate figures for applications by landlords and tenants are not available. The 585W first cases referred to Rent Assessment Committees will be decided later this month.
