HC Deb 09 March 1966 vol 725 cc581-2W
Mr. Brian Harrison

asked the Minister of Health if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT the instructions issued by his Department, number P/P277/02 of 4th March, 1966, concerning the General Election 1966.

Mr. Buck

asked the Minister of Health why his Department has banned participation by hospital staff in all recruiting campaigns for hospital staff and nurses between now and polling day.

Mr. K. Robinson

This guidance to hospital authorities on curtailment of publicity during the General Election campaign follows closely that issued by the previous Government in September, 1964, and at earlier elections. Since the letter was expressely marked "Not for publication" it would not be appropriate to publish it in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
