§ Mr. Hugh Jenkins
asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science, in view of his statement on 6th May regarding the receipt of an application for a grant from the National Association of Pre-School Playgroups, if such an application has now been received; and what decision he has reached.

My right hon. Friend has received an application for assistance from the National Association of Pre-School Playgroups. He hopes to be able to tell them his decision very shortly.
