asked the Minister of Technology whether he will now make a statement on the action he has taken or proposes to take following the Third Report of the Estimates Committee.

Mr. Cousins

I would refer the hon. Member to pages 5 and 6 of the Second Special Report from the Estimates Committee, Session 1965–66, dated the 8th December, 1965, where he will find my observations on the Committee's Third Report.

The report on the study by the Tavistock Institute which was commissioned by my Department was received in August, 1965. It was of a preliminary nature and will not be published.
