asked the Minister of Overseas Development what further allocations from the Colonial Development and Welfare Fund he has made to Colonial Governments under the Overseas Development and Service Act, 1965.

Following the discussions referred to in my predecessor's Answer to a question from my hon. Friend the Member for Wandsworth, Clapham (Mrs. McKay) on 21st December, 1965, an allocation of £7 million for the three years ending 31st March, 1968, has been made to the Government's of Aden and the Protectorate of South Arabia. This allocation includes the unspent balance of the previous allocation. The allocation made to the Governments of the British Virgin Islands and St. Helena announced by my predecessor on 21st December, 1965, have been increased by £140,000 and £25,000, respectively.
