§ Mr. Roy JenkinsCommonwealth citizens subject to control under the Commonwealth Immigrants Act, 1962, who were admitted as voucher-holders, dependants and others coming for settlement numbered 55,900 in 1964 and 57,062 in 1965. Statistics by territories for 1964 were published in Cmnd. 2658. A corresponding publication for 1965 is in preparation and in the meantime I would refer the hon. Member to the statistics placed in the Library. It is not yet possible to judge the full effect of the measures announced in Part II of the White Paper (Cmnd. 2739) issued on 2nd August last.
