§ Mr. Berryasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science why the pension scheme for teachers' widows, to be introduced from 1st April, 1966, is not to be extended to cover widows of teachers who died before the passing of the Act of Parliament authorising its introduction.
§ Mr. RedheadThe Teachers Superannuation Act, 1965 did not provide for this. It followed examination by a Working Party representative of the interests concerned.
