§ Mr. WilleyThe information I have shows that in most of the pressure areas the average price of a house plot has increased during the last two years. Apart from exceptional increases of over 100 per cent. in the Oxford/Newbury, Birmingham/Black Country and Shropshire/Staffordshire areas, the increases range from 4 per cent. to 50 per cent. In the North-East, Deeside and Merseyside, Coventry, the South-East coast towns and the Hampshire area average plot prices have fallen by percentages ranging from 5 per cent. to 28 per cent.
