§ Mr. PrenticeThe formulation of these charters is a matter for the individual governing bodies. The Committee of the Privy Council concerned, of which my right hon. Friend is a member, has, after taking the advice of the University Grants Committee, asked them to consider the inclusion, where this has not already been done, of provisions for authorising the establishment within each university of an association representing the student body, and for empowering the Council and Senate to establish joint committees of themselves and representatives of the student body.
