§ Mr. Buchanan-Smithasked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) when the investigation, commissioned by the Scottish Economic Planning Council, into the supply of building materials will be completed; and whether he will publish the results of the investigation;
(2) when the study, commissioned by the Scottish Economic Planning Council, of the importance of the construction industry in the planning of Scotland's economic development will be completed; and whether he will publish the results of the study.
§ Mr. RossThe set of studies on the construction industry in Scotland will be completed in the near future. They will take the form of confidential reports for the information of the Scottish Economic Planning Council and will subsequently be discussed with the industry. They will not be published.
