§ 146. Mr. Staintonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what yields have been reported for the first liftings of new potatoes in East Anglia this year compared with 1965.
§ Mr. HoyThe Potato Marketing Board have reported estimated daily yields in East Anglia ranging between 3 and 7 tons per acre for the period 10th to 22nd June, 1966. For the corresponding period in 1965 the Board reported estimated daily yields for Essex ranging between 3 and 6 tons per acre but no figures were reported for other parts of East Anglia.
