§ 79. Mr. Harold Walkerasked the Minister of Transport if she will issue a general direction, in the public interest, to the British Railways Board not to place contracts with firms which refuse to recognise or negotiate with trade unions.
§ Mr. John MorrisNo. The Railways Board tells us it already includes in all its contracts a "Fair Wages" Clause which deals with wages, conditions and trade unions. I am sure the Chairman of 281W the Board would be ready to help my hon. Friend with any specific cases if they were put to him.
