§ Mr. Pavittasked the Minister of Transport whether she will consult a wider range of bodies about appointments to area transport users' consultative committees.
§ Mr. John MorrisMy right hon. Friend has decided to review the balance of representation upon these committees and she proposes to consider whether their usefulness could be increased by consulting additional bodies about their membership. To allow time for the review to take place she proposes to defer the reconstitution of those committees whose appointments are expiring. For the time being the appointments of existing committees will be extended.
