§ 62. Mr. Berryasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will seek to amend the School Crossing 113W Patrols Act, 1963 in such a way as to provide that school crossing patrols shall be under the control of local education authorities rather than local authorities.
§ Mr. TaverneNo. My right hon. Friend has no reason to believe that any change is called for in existing arrangements. A local authority may, if it wishes, delegate its power to provide school crossing patrols to any of its committees, including the Education Committee.
