Mr. Reader Harrisasked the Minister of Transport if she will seek to amend the lighting regulations for lorries over a certain size in such a way that large lorries are required to have more lights on the rear, and, in particular, additional rear lights on the top corners as is the case on large lorries on the continent of Europe and in America.
§ Mr. SwinglerMy right hon. Friend's Working Party reviewing lighting regulations is considering this question, and is 79W obtaining further information about experience abroad where lights are required on the top of large vehicles, before making recommendations.
