§ Mrs. CastleThe Chairman and the Members of the Board are responsible for managing the country's railway system and its ancillary activities. The Chairman directs this work. Their hours of work are dictated by the demands of the job. They are not paid allowances, but reasonable expenses incurred directly on the business of the Board are reimbursed from Board funds.
