§ Mr. Whitakerasked the Minister of Transport what has been the result of the consideration she has given to the proposal to introduce legislation to enable local authorities to dispose more rapidly of abandoned cars.
§ Mrs. CastleThe evidence which I have at present on this from local authorities and others does not suggest a need for new legislation. I will, however, continue to watch the position.
