§ 38. Mr. Fisherasked the Minister of Overseas Development whether he will make a statement about the future of aid for overseas development, arising out of the recent conference at Fitchley Park of senior officials representing the chief donor countries.
§ Mr. GreenwoodI understand that the conference resulted in a very valuable exchange of views between the officials and ethers who attended it, but since it was organised by the Overseas Development Institute and not by my Department it would not be appropriate for me to make any statement about it.
