asked the Minister of Labour what is the average registered percentage of unfilled vacancies, in terms of the total working population in development districts, and in areas which are not development districts, respectively.

At 8th June, 1966, there were 1.3 notified vacancies remaining unfilled to every 100 employees in development districts. The corresponding figure for the rest of Great Britain was 2.1.
