HC Deb 27 July 1966 vol 732 cc279-80W
94. Mrs. Gwyneth Dunwoody

asked the Minister of Transport if she will consider the urgent provision of a pedestrian crossing in Topsham Road near the school for partially-sighted children, in view of the increasing traffic and the danger to all school children in the area.

Mr. John Morris

There is now a school crossing patrol on this length of road and my right hon. Friend does not think that a pedestrian crossing here would be sufficiently used to command the respect of drivers.
