§ Mrs. Shirley WilliamsInformation on earnings for the whole industry is not available. Earnings of Forestry Commission industrial staff, including women, boys and girls average about £688 per annum, 3 per cent. more than in the previous year.
The estimated number of employees in employment in the forestry industry at mid-June, 1965, the latest date for which estimates have been made, was 20,500.
