Selective Employment Tax (Repayments)

asked the Minister of Labour when he will make the first payments of rebates and premiums under the Selective Employment Payments Bill.

As I announced on 23rd June, repayments in respect of the first four months' tax will be made in the first quarter of the New Year.

The first claims are expected to reach my Department's local offices in the first week of January, 1967 and payments will begin almost immediately.
