HC Deb 26 July 1966 vol 732 c220W
Mr. Bruce-Gardyne

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what estimate he has made of the reduction in home sale of Scotch whisky, and in the revenue to the Exchequer there from, which will result from the increase in revenue duties.

Mr. MacDermot

No separate estimate has been made for whisky; revenue from all spirits is estimated to increase, not decrease, by £12 million in a full year.
