§ Sir Harmer Nichollsasked the Minister of Health (1) if he is aware of the dispute between the contractor building Peterborough Hospital and the architect to East Anglia Hospital Board, which carries the risk of delay and extra cost; and if he has any plans for intervening;
(2) if he will intervene in the dispute between East Anglia Hospital Board and contractors by appointing a professional man to examine those architectural instructions under the building contract relating to Peterborough Hospital, which the contractor claims are sometimes unreasonable.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonI am aware of the serious delay in the execution of this contract and of differences between the Contractor and the Board. These are matters for the Board which will decide what action it should take under the terms of the contract.
