asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how much of the £95 million reduction in the investment programme of the nationalised industries will be in Scotland.

Some part of the reductions in capital expenditure by nationalised industries will be attributable to Scotland, but details will not be available until discussions with the Chairmen of the nationalised industries on the precise application of the reductions have been completed.
