HC Deb 26 July 1966 vol 732 c236W
Mr. Alison

asked the First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Economic Affairs whether, in view of Her Majesty's Government's economic measures, he proposes a revision of the National Plan.

Mr. Maude

asked the First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Economic Affairs whether, in the light of the new economic measures, it is the Government's intention to issue a revised version of the National Plan.

Mr. George Brown

The action called for by the National Plan is as necessary as ever, but the Government are considering the projections for 1970 in the light of the economic measures announced on 20th July. I will be discussing the position with the National Economic Development Council at its next meeting on 3rd August.
