§ Mr. John MorrisThe present measures take the form of a reduction in the overall levels of expenditure that might otherwise have been achieved in this year and next and are not directed to particular categories of road schemes. 239W It will he for my right hon. Friends the Minister of Transport and the Secretaries of State for Scotland and Wales so to manage their programmes as to achieve this effect in the way they consider most appropriate. So far as England is concerned I would refer the hon. Member to the Answer given yesterday to the hon. Member for Glasgow, Cathcart (Mr. Edward M. Taylor).
