asked the Prime Minister if his recent proposals will require an upward or downward revision of the 1970 target figures in the National Plan.

I have been asked to reply.

The Government are considering the 1970 target figures in the National Plan in the light of the economic measures announced on 20th July and I will discuss the position with the National Economic Development Council at its next meeting on 3rd August.
