asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he will now make a statement on his Department's evaluation schemes for industrialised housing.

Mr. Mellish

The National Building Agency, for which my right hon. Friend is now responsible, is appraising industrialised housebuilding systems. It has issued Appraisal Certificates for 46 low-rise systems, and is examining a further 21. Work has just started on appraising 17 high-rise systems.
