Mr. Onslow

asked the Minister of Power by how much the Department under his control is at present under establishment.

Mr. Marsh

The present establishment is 85 below strength. This represents 5 per cent.

Mr. Onslow

asked the Minister of Power what steps he is taking, in the light of the present economic crisis, to reduce the establishment of the Department under his control.

Mr. Marsh

The staff complement is not more than adequate for requirements.
