Mr. Chichester-Clark

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what steps he is taking to ensure that proper attention is paid by local authorities to the need for dimensional co-ordination in the housing programmes; and what recommendations he has made.

My right hon. Friend attaches the greatest importance to this, and he is currently considering with his right hon. Friend the Minister of Public Building and Works revision and extension of the advice given by the Department in 1963.
