HC Deb 21 July 1966 vol 732 c122W
52. Mr. Henig

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what special instructions have been given to the Metropolitan Police force concerning the control of crowds using Wembley Park underground station during World Cup football matches.

Mr. Taverne

The officers on duty have been instructed how to direct members of the public to the stadium either by the subway or by crossing Bridge Road. After the match, spectators are directed to the subway by loudhailer.
