§ Dame Joan Vickersasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will place in the Library a complete list of organisations registered under the Charities Act which will now be exempt from the payment of the Selective Employment Tax.
§ Mr. DiamondUnder the provisions of the Selective Employment Payments Bill organisations which are registered under the Act and which have paid tax will have it refunded. So also will organisations which the Charity Commissioners or the Secretary of State for Education and Science certify to be exempt or excepted from the requirement to be registered. It is not at present known which organisations will fulfil either of these conditions.
