asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what scientific research has been undertaken by the Metropolitan Police force in the dispersal of large crowds after national sporting events.

None. The Research and Planning Branch of the Metropolitan Police is fully occupied with projects connected with the prevention and detection of crime and with the efficient regulation of traffic.
