§ Mr. MacCollI would refer the hon. Member to the Answer given to a Question by my hon. Friend the Member for Erith and Crayford (Mr. Well beloved) on 24th May. No conclusions have yet been reached on whether, if a barrier is to be built, it should be to the high-level or low-level design. Local authorities downstream will be consulted before any final decision is taken to construct a barrier.
