There is a long-term need for Hullavington ; and Chiseldon and Ogbourne St. George, though not occupied at present, are being held against possible future military requirements.
61WBurderop Park is not required for military use, and the Ministry of Health are negotiating with the freeholder with a view to using most of the property as a civilian hospital.
The future of Greenham Common airfield is under consideration.
