Mr. Kitsonasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government on what grounds he decided to refuse the Leyburn Rural District Council planning permission for the erection of two pairs of semidetached bungalows and one pair of semidetached dwelling-houses in the parish of Redmire in January of this year ; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. MacCollI assume that the hon. Member is referring to an appeal which was decided on 17th June. Planning permission was refused because the submitted design could not be satisfactorily built in stone.
