§ Mr. WilleyA reply was sent to the Town Clerk on 7th July a copy of which has been sent to the hon. Member. I can assure my hon. Friend that I am anxious that the Land Commission Bill shall become law as speedily as possible. The activities of the Commission, together with the policy of Government Departments of offering surplus land for development to local authorities, should make it easier for those authorities to acquire the land they need at a fair price.
