asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will take steps to grant a pension to those widows of ex-Service men whose pensions are not passed on to their wives on the death of the ex-Service man husband.

No. The widows concerned are those of men whose service terminated before 1st September 1950. I would refer the hon. Member to the reply which I gave to the hon. Member for Shrewsbury (Sir J. Langford-Holt) on 22nd June 1966.
