§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the President of the Board of Trade what action he has taken or intends to take to protect the interests of British firms who are contesting the right of the Arab League to enforce an industrial and commercial boycott against firms who carry on normal peaceful trading relations with Israel; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. JayHer Majesty's Government do not accept that the Arab League countries are entitled, because of their dispute with Israel, to interfere with the freedom of British firms to trade, and have made this clear to their Governments on a number of occasions.
