§ Mr. SwinglerLight goods vehicles are covered by the testing scheme that applies to private cars. The Government are pressing forward their plans to establish their own testing stations for heavier goods vehicles; a scheme for regular testing at these stations is planned to start early in 1968. Special provisions on testing goods vehicles will be included in the forthcoming Road Safety Bill.
