§ 59. Mr. Cordleasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government why authority for the building of 100 houses during each of the next three years by the Christchurch Council has been reduced to a maximum of 70 annually.
§ Mr. MellishThe council has been offered a programme of 60–70 houses while its needs and those of other authorities are being reviewed. There is no reason to suppose that any schemes are being delayed as a consequence.
