§ Mr. Wallasked the Minister of Transport why, in view of the undertaking given in a Parliamentary Answer on 22nd July 1964 that the footbridge over the A63 at Walton would be constructed within eight months and the fact that tenders were accepted 15 months later in October 1965, this footbridge has not 153W yet been started; and when completion is now expected.
§ Mr. SwinglerThe steel structure of the bridge is being manufactured. Work on the concrete foundations will begin this month. Erection of the bridge on site will follow, and completion is expected about October.
