§ Miss BaconThe proposals in this document for amending the Shops Act, 1950, were put forward as a basis of discussion, and it was stated in the introduction that the Government were in no sense committed to them. The replies of over 100 national organisations consulted are being analysed. There is no prospect of legislation in this session.
