§ 66. Mr. Fisherasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will make a statement on the outcome of the Barbados Conference and the date of independence for the colony.
§ Mr. Frederick LeeThe Conference ended on 4th July. Subject to the agreement of Parliament Barbados will become independent on 30th November, 1966. The report will be published as a White Paper and copies are being placed in the Library.
