§ Mr. William Clarkasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list the various forms and classes of saving, giving the amount saved in each for the years 1964 and 1965.
§ Mr. MacDermotI would refer the hon. Member to Table 8 in the January, 1966 issue of Financial Statistics, a copy of which is in the Library. This table brings together all the available information about saving and dissaving by the personal sector. Some of the items are analysed in greater detail in subsequent tables.
