§ Captain Kerbyasked the Minister of Health how many doctors have had their names removed from the register in the last year; and whether, in view of the growing shortage of doctors, he will take steps to restore their names automatically after a period of twelve months.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonI understand that five doctors' names were removed from the Register in 1965 on disciplinary grounds. Restoration of the names of such doctors is under the Medical Act, 1956, entirely a matter for the Disciplinary Committee of the General Medical Council.
