§ 49. Mr. William Hamiltonasked the Postmaster-General if he will now grant a transmission licence to Strathclyde University in order to facilitate the inauguration of television courses in the Glasgow area.
§ Mr. BennAs I told my hon. Friend the Member for Glasgow, Maryhill (Mr. Hannan) on 3rd November, my decision on Strathclyde University's application must await the outcome of the Government's general review of broadcasting policy.
