§ Mr. PadleyAccording to such information as I have received, the South African Government is constructing a landing strip in that part of the territory of South-West Africa which is usually known as the Caprivi Strip. If the hon. Member is suggesting that this action may be inconsistent with the mandate for South-West Africa, I would point out that the operation of the mandate by the South African Government is at the present time under consideration by the International Court of Justice at The Hague.
